Septic Systems

Septic systems in New York State require engineering, which sounds complicated but in reality, is quite straightforward.  An engineering company takes into account the number of bedrooms in a dwelling, the percolation rate of the soil (how quickly water passes through it), and with that information designs a system that will work year-round. With that design in hand a homeowner can then seek out "apples to apples" pricing from installation contractors. A typical system includes a septic tank (which holds the solids), possibly a pump tank, a distribution box and a leach field (which handles the liquids). Depending on setbacks from wetlands, wells, and the topography, septics can vary from very simple gravity systems to extremely complex pumped operations with raised bed leach fields. We install all manners of septic systems and have great relationships with suppliers and engineers in the area. Our quality control is the best in the business, we want you to have a functioning system and as an extension of that the environment and waterways in the Adirondack Park are protected as well.
